Rod Pritchard
Moved to Prairie Township with my family in 1959 living in New Rome and Little Farms Addition.
Graduated from Westland High School in 1975.
1979 B.A. Political Science, Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota
Retired from the City of Columbus, Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging after working for 43 years. Managed and coordinated Federal Older Americans Act funds for the eight county Central Ohio region.
Managed State of Ohio Block Grant funds for aging programs and State of Ohio Alzheimer’s grant fund programs.
Prior to COAAA, Rod worked for the Columbus Development and Human Services Departments.
Currently Treasurer of the Ohio State Beekeepers Association. Past President and trustee of the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association. Served as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Housing Services Alliance, a developer of low-income affordable housing including senior and housing for persons with disabilities. In addition, he has completed membership on the Home Weatherization Assistance Program Advisory Committee for the State of Ohio. The Customer Advisory Panel for AEP/Ohio to develop educational programs about electric deregulation. The Board of Trustees for Catholic Retirement Communities; the Bishop Ready High School Athletic Board; the Board of Zoning Appeals for Prairie Township; the Ohio and Franklin County Senior Housing Task Force; the Victorian Village Commission, and Vice-President of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees Local 1632. Trained in dispute mediation and a 1993 graduate of the Upper Arlington Leadership Program.
Rod is also co-owner of Iacovetta Properties, commercial and residential real estate investments.
Rod is married to his wife Dru and is a father and grandfather. He and Dru live, work and enjoy living in Galloway.
